T o guide you in the right direction, I need more information from the computer by answering the following questions: 1) When exactly are you receiving this error message set the whitelisted ConVars (the ones listed in csgo/bspconvar_whitelist.txt) to their default value, execute the .cfg files associated with the current values of game_type and game_mode, execute the .cfg file associated with the current values of sv_skirmish_id. If these values are not set before loading a map, it results in the last gamemode played
If Source can't find the textures used in a map, it will apparently halt the loading and display a dialog box. The only trouble is that it doesn't switch out of the HL2 loading screen, and you can't Alt+Tab out either, so all you hear is an error sound and the loading freezes, and if you don't press Return then, trying to Alt+Tab, it will look like your entire computer has frozen I have 2 WSUS servers running on 2 separate Server 2012 r2 VM's that keep crashing like clockwork.
